桑名市教育委員会がCREATOR AVRを活⽤した授業を実施 ⽇本初の⼩学校教育において最先端のAR /VRテクノロジーの試⾏

AVR Japan 株式会社（本社︓東京都港区 代表︓⽴⽯雅之、以下 AVRJapan）と、桑名市教育委員会 （三重県桑名市︓教育⻑ 近藤久郎、以下桑名市教育委員会）は、桑名市⽴益世⼩学校において、⽇本の ⼩学校としては初めての、世界最先端のAR/VRテクノロジー「Creator AVR」を利⽤した理科授業を実 施致しました。

■世界のAR/VR教育が⽇本に進出  世界38拠点に広がる（2019年8⽉時点）⽶国EON reality社のAR/VRテクノロジーは、AVRJapan が提供するAR（拡張現実）/VR（仮想現実）を混合した現実世界のような体験に好奇⼼を喚起し、積極 性と深い理解⼒を促します。⽇本で初導⼊となるこの「CreatorAVR」はAR/VRのプラットフォームで あり、LMS、AIが組み込まれています。今回はバッタ、蝶、など昆⾍の⾝体の仕組みと⽣態を学ぶため に３D モデルと AR テクノロジーを使⽤してわかりやすく解説しました。児童の興奮を感じるとともに 新しい教育⼿法の効果を体感する⼤変貴重な機会となりました。 

AR/VR education comes to Japan expanding EON Reality’s list of 38 locations worldwide. As of August 2019 the VR (Virtual Innovation) and AR (Augmented Reality) technology provided by AVR Japan arouses curiosity and encourages proactivity and deep understanding. The solution in question is provided through the Creator AVR, an AR/VR platform that incorporates LMS and AI. Being shown 3D models of grasshoppers and butterflies in AR the children could easily and intuitively learn about their states and mechanisms. It was a great opportunity to see the children’s enthusiasm about this new form of education.

■世界レベルのエンジニアを輩出する教育  ⽇本では、この技術を東京タワーメディアセンター内にオープンするIDC Tokyo が教育、医療、産業、 航空、宇宙、セキュリティにフォーカスし展開しています。様々なAR/VR機器を完備したショールーム と共に、⽶国EON Reality社が開発したAR/VRプラットフォームを⽤いた教育、トレーニング、職場効 率の改善に繋がる有効なツール提供・開発を⾏います。

 IDC Tokyo (Interactive Digital Center) has opened in the Tokyo Tower Media Center, and is to produce global level engineers. IDC Tokyo focuses on bringing AR/VR solutions to the fields of industry, medicine, education, aerospace and security. Utilizing a showroom filled with a variety of AR/VR systems and EON Reality’s platform a number of new tools to improve education, training and workplace efficiency will be introduced by AVR Japan.  

■⽇本の教育での積極的な取り組み 桑名市教育委員会においては、ICT教育の推進により児童・⽣徒の理解の促進、教師の負担軽減に⼒を⼊れており、CreatorAVRを活⽤した次回の授業も1１⽉中に「かげのでき⽅と太陽の光」を予定しており ます。

Kuwana City Board of Education is dedicated to promoting the understanding of children and of students, and to unburden teachers by promoting ICT education. The next lesson is scheduled for November and will be about “The sunlight” and “How shadows form.”
